Welcome to Taxa Sleuth

Taxa Sleuth is a visual identification game focused on Canadian species—both native and those that are introduced, invasive, or naturalized. The goal is to sharpen your ability to recognize organisms across varied conditions.

You'll play through short sessions where you identify organisms based on real images. Categories are organized into multiple levels: for example, you might select a narrow group like conifers, a broader one like trees, or even an entire kingdom-level group like plantae. For maximum variety, you can also choose "All Species."

This game is designed as a learning tool. Scoring helps track your progress, but the real goal is skill improvement.
